9 Pairs Of Gorgeous Denim Shorts - Summer Ain't Over Yet!
I am a big fan of denim shorts and have quite a few pairs, what I don't have though are any denim shorts with patterns. I love my denim shorts because they are cute, hard-wearing, and I can wear them all year round. They are great for the summer of course, but I really like wearing them in the winter with a pair of thick tights and a sweatshirt.
I enjoy wearing patterns, prints, and anything unusual or a bit different, so these cool shorts are right up my street! I think my absolute favorites are the ones in the bottom left and mid bottom, by Paige. Those have a cityscape design and are the most unusual and interesting designs I have seen.
The Etoil Isabel Marant shorts, and Kate Moss shorts (in the top row) are also on my want, want, want list! - I have a want list, a want, want list, AND a want, want, want list! :)

10 Short Sequin Dresses For Under $100 And How To Keep Em' Sparkling
A short sequin dress is perfect to wear during the holiday season, sleek, sparkling, and full of sexy fun, sequins are one way to out shine the holiday decorations.
As you might imagine, a sequin dress can be really expensive, I saw some to-die-for examples for $1,000 and above, but I don't have thousands to spend on a sequin dress no matter how much I want it, so I have concentrated on beautiful sparkling dresses under $100.
The dress in the pic to the left is on sale right now at 80% off (limited sale offer) which makes it well under the $100 mark. Yay!
Here are 9 more lovely short sequin dresses that will bring a sparkle to the holiday season, without making a huge dent in your wallet! Oh and some tips on looking after a sequin dress, so that it stays looking fab.

Beaded Wrap Bracelet
Generally a beaded wrap bracelet is a coil of leather thong, with beads strung across the coils to build up the bracelet. They are real statement pieces and a very versatile piece of jewelry, as many of them are suitable to be worn with casual or formal clothing.

Prairie Style - Get Your Fringing On!
Prairie Style Look One
This is a softly colored take on Prairie style, tan bag and boots with fringing, against reds, blues, and creams. I love the prairie inspired cardigan from Goddis and this beautiful piece sure pulls the whole look together.
Either of the diamond print tops shown could be worn with this look, which could be accented by black skinny jeans, suede leggings/jeans, or denim shorts.

William Morris Fabric Designs
Original William Morris Fabrics And The Wooden Blocks Used To Print Them
Today I had the pleasure of getting up-close to a piece of original William Morris printed fabric, along with the engraved wooden blocks used to print the design. Woot!
The photo to the left shows the actual piece of fabric, a pretty bird and flower design, typical of Morris.
This beautiful fabric is easy to spot, it has a definite style and classic color theme which runs through each design, each is different, yet each is familiar...you know instantly if a design is by Morris, and that is the proof of a true master.
One of my earliest fashion memories was of my mothers Liberty print bag, it had a scrolling, floral design by William Morris, and it captivated me. I used to trace the leaves and stems around the bag with my finger, kind of like like a floral maze... it was with this same sense of captivation that I viewed these items today.
Ancient Pottery Pendant
I found this piece of ancient pottery years ago in a stream in the woods, it was just lying there amongst the stones and I was really excited when I found it. I have been keeping it safe and when I used to travel I would take it with me in my pocket, like a good luck charm.
I have always wanted to wear this pottery on a pendant, because it seems such a shame to just have it sitting in a cabinet, and I am always scared of losing it from my pocket...
I decided to finally make it into a pendant, I make quite a lot of pendants and charms from cute things that I have found, but I had been putting this one off because I thought that it would be quite hard to wire, it turned out that it was a bit fiddly because it's flat and delicate, so I couldn't grip the wire against it with the pliers like I would normally. I also had to use some wires across the front, but it wasn't as hard as I thought and I like the end result, it's much better than it sitting unseen in a cabinet. I also added some amethyst chips to one of the wires to bring a bit of color.
